APPEC 2012 Award for Best Publisher

The Association of Catalan Periodical Publications has awarded the award for the best publisher to bonart. This was announced by Carles Duarte, president of the jury, at the press conference held this afternoon at the Journalists' Association of Catalonia in Barcelona. The event was attended by the president of APPEC, Lluis Gendrau, and the communications director of Endesa, Eugeni Cabanes. The awards jury was chaired by Carles Duarte and formed by Esteve León, secretary; Jaume Ciurana, deputy mayor for Culture of the Barcelona City Council and ICUB; Antoni Molons, general director of the Generalitat's Media; Jordi Sellas, general director of Creation and Cultural Companies of the Generalitat; Raimond Blasi, councilor for Commerce of the Barcelona City Council; Rosa Serra, coordinator of the Economic Development Area of the Barcelona Provincial Council; Eugeni Cabanes, journalist and communications director of Endesa in Catalonia; Albert Sáez, deputy director of El Periódico ; Joan Ventura, deputy director of PuntAvui for Cultural Information; Francesc Marc Álvaro, journalist, columnist for La Vanguardia ; Àlex Gutiérrez, head of Media at ARA ; Enric Frigola, general secretary of the Association of Journalists; Lluís Gendrau, president of APPEC and Oriol Soler, president of Cultura 03, Sàpiens Publicacions (representing APPEC). 

The awards ceremony was held in the Modernist Room of the new Endesa building on Avinguda Vilanova in Barcelona. Mireia Hernández, Deputy for Culture of the Barcelona Provincial Council, presented the award, a work by the Girona artist Ansesa Gironella, to Anna Maria Camps and Ricard Planas, editors of bonart .
