Unique Foundation: intertwined realities

The Úniques Foundation is hosting Intertwined Realities in Barcelona, a collective exhibition curated by Paula Carrera , which brings together three essential female voices from the current art scene, Núria Farré , Elena Montesinos and IAMPIÓ .

The exhibition proposes a journey through the fusion of disciplines, cultures and territories, highlighting how the boundaries between the physical and digital worlds, the personal and the collective, are becoming increasingly blurred. This exhibition not only presents works, but also invites us to experience them and rethink them through parallel activities such as performances and conferences. The project is defined as a celebration of the diversity and universality of human experience, with a great emphasis on the fundamental role of women artists in the construction of new narratives. It is not just about showing, but about expressing ourselves fully and acting, declares Paula Carrera, who in addition to being an art historian, is also an expert in high technology and English literature.

IAMPIÓ , creative alter ego of Emma Piau, proposes a work with symbolic and emotional strength. Through disciplines such as painting, ceramics or performance, she builds a story that connects feminism, sisterhood and spirituality, while taking root in ancestral traditions and contemporary urban contexts. Núria Farré , from her studio in the Gràcia neighborhood, works on a painting between abstraction and figuration. Her work transforms the everyday into emotional landscapes, where memory and time become the true protagonists.

On the other hand, Elena Montesinos presents abstract landscapes that draw from her intense relationship with Formentera. For eight summers, she obsessively explored the same setting, building an intimate and meditative language. The formal simplicity hides a great emotional richness, with pictorial layers that suggest stories, sensations and reflections on contemplation.

This exhibition, which can be visited until May, is part of the mission of the Úniques Foundation, an entity committed to promoting women's art and creating new opportunities for artists, facilitating their access to the market and promoting collecting as a path to sustainability.
