With an eye on both the raw materials that nourish us and the forests that surround us, Sismògraf 2025 continues to focus on a program that explores new connections between creators and spectators, consolidating its focus on the relationship between the arts and the landscape. The streets, theaters and natural spaces of Olot will become the setting for proposals ranging from urban interventions to ephemeral installations, with a program focused on the body and the territory from April 24 to 27. And so that dance also has its space, Sismodansa will extend the movement festival from April 28 to 30, in line with International Dance Day.
Among the creative proposals that cross the program, two great "eruptions" stand out: food and the forest. The first of them turns gastronomy into a field of artistic experimentation, with projects such as Natura Centrum Est, the street-action by Marcel·lí Antúnez , or Mapa Caníbal, the proposal by Maria Camila Sanjinés that, through a gastronomic cartography, discovers how the people of Olot feed themselves. The other great "eruption" focuses on forests, understood as both threatened spaces and territories of transformation and legend. In this area, Timeless Streams stands out. Whispers of Earth, a proposal that combines climbing, dance and landscape, or Incendis, by the Catalan company Ça Marche , which will immerse viewers in an experience that recreates both forest devastation and the capacity of a forest to be reborn. In addition, the second proposal from The Mountain Range, Beyond Borders, will be shown, a project by Norwegian climber and choreographer Helle Siljeholm and Italian curator Lisa Gilardino , which explores the relationship between movement and nature in four European landscapes: Dolomites, Pre-Pyrenees, Azores and Iceland.

Beyond these two main lines, the Sismògraf 2025 will feature other outstanding interventions. Yo no tengo nombre / I have no name, by El Conde de Torrefiel , explores nature's gaze on humanity; Sol Picó presents Lastre, a visceral and intense proposal around a large bonfire; and Armour, by acrobats Arno Ferrera , Gilles Polet and Charlie Hession , questions masculinity through movement. Also noteworthy are the audiovisual installation Multiverse, by Humanhood ; L'Envers d'ici, a dialogue between the French company Ex Nihilo and the regeneration project of the old town of Olot; and the interactive installation aimed at children AHNI. Accions Humanes No Identidades, by the Balearic Hermanas Picohueso . The Seismograph will culminate in Parc Nou en Moviment , the Sunday program of dance and live arts located in this natural space and which will bring four proposals from the Basque Country, Mallorca, Madrid, Palestine and the Netherlands.
Multiverse, Humanhood.
Sismodansa , for its part, will turn public spaces into stages for contemporary dance. This proposal will be deployed in unique spaces such as the Library and the Theatre. The starting point will be the Conference on urban dances, where Guille Vidal-Ribas and Àlvar Marcos combine music, audiovisuals, words and movement to explain the evolution of this genre. On International Dance Day, April 29, it will be LaFonte Cia 's turn with Que et fessis vella / Sí que em faria escopir sang, a piece inspired by the work of Gabriel Ferrater and included in the Balla'm un llibre project, a collaboration between the Association of Dance Professionals of Catalonia and the Library Service of the Department of Culture .
The last day of Sismodansa will bring to the streets of Olot FLIP, a dance solo on skates by Marta Izquierdo Muñoz , a tribute to the contemporary dancer and figure skater Éric Martin. Finally, THIS IS NOT (An Act of Love and Resistance), by Aina Alegre / CCN Grenoble & STUDIO FICTIF , will bring together nine female performers (four instrumentalists and five dancers) in a musical and choreographic proposal that will close this edition.
