The call for subsidies for museums in Catalonia for the year 2025 is open

From March 11, museums registered in the Register of Museums of Catalonia can submit their applications for the granting of subsidies for the implementation of strategic programs and specific projects during the year 2025. The submission period ends on March 26 at 2 p.m.

These grants aim to support museums in Catalonia in the implementation of projects that help improve their management, access, and relationship with the community. The seven modalities include strategic planning programs, international cooperation, university research, accessibility improvements, innovative educational projects, professional training for museum staff, and support for small museums and heritage facilities.

Applications are open to local bodies, consortia, foundations and other private non-profit entities established in Catalonia, with the exception of museums that are publicly owned or financed mainly by the Administration of the Generalitat. Applicants may submit a single project per modality, with the aim of guaranteeing a fair distribution of resources between the different museums and projects.
