Hybrid Art Fair closed its ninth edition last Sunday, March 9, with an exceptional balance, consolidating itself as the epicenter of the most disruptive and fresh art on the contemporary scene.
The fair attracted a total of 6,000 visitors, 10% more than in the previous edition, demonstrating the public's growing interest in innovative artistic proposals and immersive experiences, and reaffirming its commitment to the freshest emerging art. This year, Hybrid Art Fair experienced notable growth, reaching 43 exhibitors from 12 countries, including Spain, Mexico, Switzerland, Italy, Austria, Andorra, Japan, Canada, Greece, Germany, Belgium and Taiwan.
Three floors of the Petit Palace Santa Bárbara Hotel have been customized and converted into art galleries and creative spaces. The fair became a cultural meeting point during Madrid's Art Week, where nearly 200 artists, 60% women, presented their works in various disciplines such as textile art, ceramics, video art, installations, performance and plastic work, among others.

The public enjoyed a unique artistic experience, exploring the proposals of independent exhibitors and artists room by room. The performances and site-specific installations allowed visitors to experience art with all their senses, immersing themselves in a creative and stimulating environment, and interacting with creators. In addition, this edition of the fair has been characterized by the dynamism of acquisitions by collectors and also by the general public, who have acquired work and started a personal collection.
A female management team and a disruptive approach
Hybrid Art Fair is distinguished by having a management team made up entirely of women, who have managed to position the fair as a benchmark for the most disruptive and fresh art. The fair has become a space where the limits of contemporary art are challenged, offering a platform for emerging artists and innovative proposals. The fair is organized by Boreal Projects, with the support of the Government Area of Culture, Tourism and Sports of Madrid and the aid for fairs and festivals of the City Council of Madrid, among other collaborations.
