The exhibition From White is an artistic project by Imma Alonso (Barcelona, 1962) and Laura Baringo (Barcelona, 1955), a collaboration that explores the limits of sculpture and painting, seeking the connection between the materiality of plaster and the intensity of color.
Configured as a visual conversation, the exhibition interacts with shapes, volumes and colors to create a shared language. The artists' goal is to transcend the traditional boundaries of art and generate a meeting space between light, shadows and textures. Through this interaction, Des del blanc invites the public to reflect on the fusion of disciplines and the construction of a common artistic narrative.
The inauguration will take place today, Thursday 20 March, with a guided tour by the artists. In addition, on 9 April, Des del blanc a la música, diálegs, a conference-performance with the participation of Ernest Giralt , a scientist and composer who often collaborates with visual artists, will be held. In this session, Giralt will share fragments of his musical compositions and talk about his experiences at the intersection of science and art. At the same time, he will establish a dialogue with Imma Alonso and Laura Baringo about the possibilities of interdisciplinary work and the challenges it poses, encouraging a participatory conversation with the audience.
