Curated by Caterina Almirall , Subsolar moves away from conventional exhibition circuits to enter a universe of telluric forces that connect the earth with the universe. Five artists participate in this project, with works that explore, from different perspectives and disciplines, the deep energy that is hidden in our planet . The project focuses especially on the influence that the subsoil exerts on those who inhabit or transit a place, inviting us to discover how these underground energies impact our lives.
It is a sensory journey that invites us to discover what we cannot see with the naked eye, but which we intuit through the textures, shapes and gestures of the artists. The title of the exhibition, Subsolar, refers not only to an agricultural technique, but also to the symbolic interaction between the earth and the sun, and to the idea of making permeable what, at first, seems opaque, dense and stratified.

From Anna Dot 's work, which delves into the rituals of ancient Greece with libations, to Violeta Mayoral 's photographs, which explore the complexities between light and darkness, the artists present a set of works that speak to us about the invisible forces that connect man with his environment. Dot proposes a ritual action in the area's vineyards to activate the paterae –ceramic plates used in ancient rituals–, an intervention that will take place on April 5 and that, at the same time, reminds us of the importance of linking ourselves with the territory through tradition and symbolism. Joan Rom presents large necklaces created with objects collected directly from the earth, pieces that reflect an intimate relationship with the natural space and the transformations it undergoes. Marc Larré , for his part, explores the connection between the human body and the earth through molds that capture the footprint and impact we leave on the soil. On the other hand, Eulàlia Rovira invites us to observe the tables that draw the trunk of an olive tree.
Overall, Subsolar is a project that invites us to look beyond the surface, to let ourselves be carried away by the telluric forces that shape and transform our environment, to better understand the bond we have with the landscape that surrounds us.
