Since last October 5, you can visit the collective exhibition of the Biennale of local artists in Castell d'Aro. The exhibition will be open on weekends and holidays, from 11:00 to 13:00 and from 17:00 to 20:00, until November 24 this year. A total of sixty-five artists have participated in this exhibition, which is held every two years.
According to the mayor of Castell d'Aro, Platja d'Aro and S'Agaró, Maurici Jiménez, "from the council we continue to bet on culture and art. With this exhibition, Benedormiens Castle becomes the perfect setting for our citizens to have a space to show themselves, to share. And, as it could not be otherwise, the students of the Municipal School of Art are also present. The importance of art in education is related to the ability to foster skills, nurture creativity and provide a means of personal and emotional expression. ” He also adds that “practice any art: painting, music, sculpture, dance, singing, poetry, theater... It doesn't matter where or how, if you do it with more or less skill, to achieve everything or without to pretend nothing... It is worth it as an experience to go inside yourself and bring out everything that we carry inside and that makes our soul vibrate.”
