Piramidón, Contemporary Art Center announces its first artistic residency award: Jordi Fulla Residency Award.
The competition offers the possibility to reside, for two months, in one of the artistic workshops of Piramidón and that is accompanied by a budget for the production. Open to international plastic artists, the prize takes the name of the artist Jordi Fulla (Igualada 1967 - Igualada 2019), who was one of the first artists to occupy one of Piramidón's creative workshops, residing there between 1991 and in 2005 and leaving an indelible memory. The award aims to pay tribute to his artistic figure, legacy and creative and restless spirit.
The aim of the prize is to give contemporary plastic artists the opportunity to immerse themselves in the artistic atmosphere of Barcelona, work and reside in a studio to be able to continue developing their artistic practice or explore new forms of creation, in addition to participate in a range of cultural activities to enrich their practice and establish connections with the local and international artistic community.

Applicants must have held, during the last three years, an individual exhibition in an art gallery or institution.
