Art Basel exhibits art from the 20th and 21st centuries and is indisputably the world's leading fair for the international art market. More than 200 carefully selected representatives from the world's most relevant galleries turn the Basel fairgrounds into the most important temporary museum. High-level exhibitions showcase various categories of art; both works by modern masters and emerging talents are represented here. Art Basel allows you to experience the world of art up close; this is the secret of their success.

At an event attended by 286 of the world's leading galleries, the highest quality works will be exhibited in all media, including painting, sculpture, photography and digital artwork. The Mayoral Gallery of Barcelona, after its participation in Basel Miami and Hong Kong, attends the meeting in Basel for the first time.

The Unlimited 2024 section of Art Basel 2024 is the platform that this outstanding international art event uses to support large-scale projects. Specifically, it offers exhibitors the necessary space to present monumental installations, enormous sculptures, near-infinite murals, complete photographic series and large-scale video projections. Curated for the fourth time by Giovanni Carmine, director of Kunst Halle Sankt Gallen in Switzerland, the Unlimited section goes beyond the traditional boundaries of artistic expression and viewer interaction.

This year, visitors will also be able to enjoy the Unlimited Night on June 13, with special presentations during extended hours. For the first time, attendees can vote for their favorite Art Basel work.

Elsewhere, the flagship talk show, Conversas , returns for its 20th anniversary edition with an interesting program, curated for the first time by Berlin-based art critic Kimberly Bradley.

The 2024 edition, which brings together more than 25 opinion leaders, presents 11 panels, all related to the pressing question of how to build and shape the future of contemporary culture. Discussions will explore the challenges and opportunities of the art trade in a super election year, the potential for greater interdisciplinarity in museums, how artists engage with politics in a time of global crisis, and the ways in which digital technologies are reshaping the social and economic ecosystems of lart.
