Call for Coordination of programs and projects derived from the Visual Arts Promotion Plan

The Association of Cultural Management Professionals of Catalonia opens a call to select a project coordinator to coordinate and develop the programs that make up the Visual Arts Promotion Plan of the Generalitat de Catalunya.

The projects have been conceptualized in collaboration with the Department of Culture and the visual arts professional associations that form the Visual Arts Platform: PAAC Visual Arts Platform of Catalonia; ACCA Association of Art Critics of Catalonia; ABE Art Barcelona Association of Galleries; XARXAPROD Network of Production Centers Network of Territorial Visual Arts Centers of Catalonia; GGAC Guild of Art Galleries of Catalonia and APGCC Association of Cultural Management Professionals of Catalonia

In this framework, the APGCC calls for a selection process for a person who will carry out the tasks of coordinating and monitoring the projects proposed by the entities. The projects are intended to improve the professional sector of the visual arts by affecting training and mentoring, advice and accompaniment, professionalization, the promotion of artistic production, the improvement of the financing of projects and their dissemination and internationalization

FUNCTIONS TO BE DEVELOPED

• Coordinate or facilitate meetings with sectoral agents • Continuous dialogue with the managers of the APGCC office and other sectoral associations
• Coordination of the different teams of each project
• Preparation of follow-up reports and meeting minutes
• Elaboration of project evaluation documents and reports

REQUIREMENTS

• Qualification: diploma or degree (preferably in Humanities, Art History or Cultural Management)
• High knowledge of Office software
• Knowledge of the culture sector and experience in managing cultural projects, Knowledge of administrative and management tasks. Experience in project management, production and coordination
• Ease of writing in general.
• Experience in the Visual Arts sector, knowledge of the main sector agents
• Experience in sectoral associations
• Timely availability to attend follow-up meetings and meetings
• Experience in grant management

CONDITIONS

• Employment contract of 35 hours per week
• Contract duration: 12 months
• Flexible hours and the possibility of teleworking with presence two/three days a week depending on the volume of work
• Place of work: Association of Cultural Management Professionals of Catalonia (Carrer Montalegre, 7. 08001 Barcelona)
• Remuneration: €24,000 gross per year
• Joining date: Second week of January 2024
