The Eleven House, new 'concept gallery' in Girona

Last December 1, the new concept gallery The Eleven House was inaugurated in Girona, a project led by Susanna Cots. From December 2, the doors were opened to the public with a collective exhibition of the artists represented by The Eleven House, among which Bernat Sobrebals and Raúl del Sol stand out.

Five years after launching his most personal project, The Eleven House, Cots expands the brand and lands in the Girona capital with this new gallery, born as the alter ego of the man from Peratallada. The gallery wants to be the meeting point of art, culture and design under the seal of TheEleven House brand and curated with the philosophy of Susanna Cots, leader of her interior design studio for almost 25 years. The project, which is part of an expansive phase of the brand that is driven by the designer's cultural concerns, goes one step further since according to Cots "it is difficult to find a concept that defines in itself everything that can fit within The Eleven universe, that's why we talk about 'concept gallery', because art is the transversal axis that will feed all the cultural proposals".

The designer also explains that "we will find encapsulated design in any artistic discipline" about her vision of the cultural project that can be found within the walls of TheEleven Gallery in Girona. "Art will arrive through theatrical proposals or works that end up impacting and providing something more than emotion," he tells us. A work philosophy that Susanna Cots is projecting both in her spaces and in her creative projects and which will now see the light of day in the next concept gallery in Girona. And he also points out that "we will live in a space in which culture expands from beginning to end of the space and where we maximize emotion and diversify expression".
