The Gallery presents 'Perico Pastor' 2023'
bonart sant cugat del vallès - 24/11/23

The renowned artist Perico Pastor (La Seu d'Urgell, 1953) presents his latest artistic production Perico Pastor' 2023 at the GaLeRia de Sant Cugat del Vallès from 23 November at 19:30.

This exhibition participates in ARTCAT Art Week, which will take place from November 23 to December 1, with the installation entitled Roba Estesa. On the one hand, visitors will be able to enjoy paintings with dancing figures, others that represent the senses in a landscape that evokes exotic journeys, some reading, hugging, showing off... Most they are plastic images of snapshots that we can recognize and enjoy and that the artist himself offers us on this occasion to share them.

On the other hand, the installation Roba Estesa, which has been made expressly for a certain space of the Gallery, is a realization of human presence while becoming a very particular Christmas tree. Regarding the artist's way of working, it can be said that he is very unique, with a deep knowledge of the tools he uses and that he is often associated with Japanese drawing, since he usually always works on paper , of low grammage, with textural qualities and special luminosity that help in the result of the final work.

With brushes and Chinese ink, build the work from the drawing with simple and immediate gestures. The watercolour, applied when the paper is wet, capriciously resurfaces, once it dries, some sought-after, vivid and forceful colours. This exhibition can be visited until January 5, 2024.
