Pep Admetlla participates in the 5th Biennial of the South

The 5th Biennal del Sud, in the state of Aragua (Venezuela), is an event that brings together the participation of 26 international artists and 46 Venezuelan artists, which in this edition includes the participation of Pep Admetlla (Girona 1962). As the artist explained, the work with which he participates, Memory, contents and narratives, is involved in the theme on which this 5th Biennial of the South is based, and seeks to place an architectural figure that is passable in a space public

Also, Admetlla explained that this project "will be like a memory library, in which the elements of the planet such as Light (the sun), Sound (the wind), people, will be transmitted through the different holes macles, which will penetrate as if it were a kind of random clock where the movements of the sun will be seen".

According to the artist's words, Memory, contents and narratives is "a place where we can find ourselves, it will not be the form but the emptiness of this space, where through the hole it has, the light is transmitted, the sound, the wind, we isolate ourselves in this space to have our own memory of what we live, because memory is not the same as memory, we modify the memory, we stabilize the memory" commented Admetlla.

This work that can be walked through seeks to isolate the noises, the atmosphere and the things that disturb people to provide them with a space of tranquility where they can spend a different and dispossessing time.
