More than 100 galleries participate in the 31st edition of Estampa

More than 100 galleries with national and international artists participate in the 31st edition of the Estampa fair, which takes place from October 19 to 22 in pavilion number 4 of the Ifema Madrid fair grounds. As far as gallerism and collecting in our country is concerned, this time it has the intervention of Secundino Hernández as guest artist.

The main galleries of Spain and the world participate in this call, joining up to twenty new projects created in the State in recent years. Some of the names of these galleries are: Juana de Aizpuru (Madrid), 1MiraMadrid (Madrid), Moisés Pérez d'Albéniz (Madrid), Cayón (Madrid/Menorca/Manila), Max Estrella (Madrid), Marlborough (Madrid), Fernando Pradilla (Madrid), Mayoral (Barcelona), La Cometa (Bogotà/Madrid), José de la Mano (Madrid), Zielinsky (Barcelona), Leyendecker (Tenerife), Álvaro Alcázar (Madrid), ArtNueve (Murcia), Rafael Pérez Hernando (Madrid), ATM (Gijón), Fernandez Braso (Madrid), T20 (Murcia), PalmaDotze (Barcelona), Juan Silió (Madrid/ Santander) or Isabel Hurley (Malaga).

As for the General Program, this year it is strengthened with the addition of state-of-the-art galleries such as Yusto/Giner (Madrid/Marbella), VETA (Madrid), Berlin Galeria (Seville), Swinton Gallery (Madrid), La Causa ( Madrid), Arniches 26 (Madrid) Herrero de Tejada (Madrid), Artizar (Tenerife), Villazán (Madrid), Victor Lope (Barcelona), WeCollect (Madrid) or 3 Punts (Barcelona). Reference should be made to the participation of galleries dedicated to photography such as Bernal Espai (Madrid), A Pick Gallery (Milà), Blanca Berlin (Madrid), Valid Foto (Barcelona), or Cambra Fosca (Madrid).

The Look, think and choose section, curated by Lorena Martínez de Corral, is attended by Alarcón Criado –Irene Infantes–; Ehrhardt Florez –Secundino Hernández–; Comfortable Format –Rosari Trillo–; Helga de Alvear –Prudenci Irazabal–; Nordés –Rosendo Cid–; Ponce+Robles –Julio Linares–; The Goma –Jose Díaz– and Rocio Santacruz –Lluis Hortalà–. Of note is the presence of Secundino Hernández as guest artist, who presents his most recent work in a series of large-format shelf paintings.

Likewise, the fair promotes the program of international collectors, which will attract Madrid guests who particularly value the state's art galleries. A series of guided tours by specific groups of collectors have also been scheduled, etc... and the Corporative Collection program hosts an exhibition with works selected by different curators, as well as a Forum on Collecting that will feature the intervention of different artists.

The Estampa 2023 fair will be held until October 22 from 11:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. on the first day of the fair, and from 12:00 to 20:00 the rest of the days.
