Last July 17 at 12:00 noon, the sculpture Making Paths by Gerard Rocayats was inaugurated on the stone wall of Plaça de la Closa d'Ordino.
The sculpture is a letter A, which Rocayats has made with corten iron, and has been expressly designed with the aim of representing the three most practiced sports in the Principality of Andorra, which are: skiing, cycling mountain and hiking, characterized from the footprints of a child.
According to the sculptor from Girona "the location of this piece is ideal, as it is a large space, very well lit and where a lot of people pass by". During the course of the presentation, the junior consul of Ordino, Eva Choy, the senior consul of Ordino, Josep Àngel Mortés and the general counsellor, Berna Coma, were present. It must be said that Gerard Rocayats has more public works distributed throughout Andorra, specifically in the Sanctuary of Meritxell.
