The jury of the Biennale d'Art de la Diputació de Tarragona (BADt 2023) has selected the thirteen finalist works that will be eligible for this edition's prize. The works will form part of a collective exhibition that can be visited at the Museum of Modern Art of the Provincial Council (MAMT) from September 16.
The BADt 2023 has this year received a total of 163 works of various styles framed by the concept of visual arts. The BADt is a competition of artistic creation of reference in the demarcation of Tarragona and throughout the country and the State, promoted by the Provincial Council of Tarragona through the Museum of Modern Art.
The Biennale d'Art 2023 finalists are Maider Lopez Saez, Antonio Menhen Iglesias, Maria Remedio Silvestre Linde, Marta Van Tartwijk, Pedro Rogeiro Aires Torres, Judit Bou Comas, Maria Cañadas Ceron, Daniel Alberto de la Barra, Pau Magrane Figuera, Sofia Montenegro Bolin, Daniel Moreno Roldan, Joaquim-davis Packard Blasco and Ignasi Prat Altimira.
The award-winning works at the Art Biennale 2023 will be announced during the opening of the group exhibition on September 16. The winner will take home an economic prize of €6,000 and an individual exhibition at the MAMT. In addition, two prizes of €3,000 will be awarded and the rest of the selected works will receive €600, according to the rules, which have the PACC Seal of Good Practice, a mark of quality that ensures work worthy of the artist
