"Emotion-n'art" by Mercè Pla in Sala Ronda

Mercè Pla presented his sculpture exhibition in the Sala Ronda. Under the title Emotion-n'art, Pla has exhibited a set of works that we plan a journey from 2013, which began with the Souls, where the narration appears without a previous script and transits through its different states of 'anim, Imprisoned Feelings and Shared Screams. Finally, its evolution, from self-knowledge, which leads us to live the emotions of the soul that freed from the past, can better build the future, from a present full of conscious emotions.

For the artist Mercè Pla, "Emotion-in-art makes our own feelings evident, lived naked, without prejudice to sex, for everyone equally. I try, therefore, that we can all feel identified in the sculptures that are part of the exhibition.It is for this reason, that my work is made with refractory stoneware, completely modeled by hand.
Incorporating the lathe as an artistic construction tool, which allows me to shape my heads, in a very intimate way. The Hands, in a synchronized dance, form the emotions that I finally show in the exhibition."

This work has been exhibited at the Art Mar Gallery in Barcelona and during the month of May at Sala Ronda in Barcelona.
