bonart girona - 18/05/23

On March 28, the temporary exhibition The senses of the game was inaugurated. A sensory journey through playful memory in the exhibition hall (ground floor) of the Casa de la Cultura de Girona. The exhibition has been curated by Pau Regincós and Cati Hernández (from Ludus Mundi).

This binomial formed by the game and the senses is the protagonist of The senses of the game, a space that has been turned into a sensory journey to childhood, awakening the memories of those moments of play through the stimulation of the different senses . According to its curators this space, memorial of the game "manages to cross generations and connect with our playful memory."

The senses are little buttons that allow us to awaken very specific memories: the touch of wood, the smell of chocolate or the sound of a rolling wall can connect us with moments from our past. Also with our playful memory, those moments of play in which a smell, a sound or a texture took center stage.

In this exhibition, visitors can find different interactive stations that pose small sensory challenges and, at the end of the tour, a free play space with which to interact and enjoy with family or friends while playing to build the memories of tomorrow.

The collaborators of this exhibition are the people who are part of: Grapat, Tell Fusta, Kapla Catalunya, Petit Boum, Ticumiku, Lekkid, Cork'N'play, Trígonos, DLand Toys, Londji, Jocaliu, l'Atelier de ma maisone, Company of games l'Anonyma, Libraries of Girona, 7 de disseny, House of Culture of the Diputació de Girona.
