The Espai Isern Dalmau hosts the Spring Art Barcelona exhibition, a private initiative that brings together fifteen + one artists who have created a work of art with "spring" as a source of inspiration. Original works that, after the exhibition, will be auctioned by Christie's at the Majestic Hotel & Spa Barcelona for the benefit of the Ires Foundation. The inauguration will take place on May 4 at 7 pm at the Espai Isern Dalmau in Barcelona.
The participating artists have been selected by the curator of the exhibition, Sofia Palacios, and are Albert Riera Galceran, Amalia Pica, Bea Bonafini, Eduard Bigas, Glenda León, Ivan Forcadell, Julia Creuheras, Manuel Ballesteros, Merve Iseri, Regina Giménez, Rosa Tharrats, Sheroanawe Hakihiiwe, Sofía Clausse, Tiago Mestre, Xevi Solà and Flàvia Junqueira. All of them have created their works using as a source of inspiration the poem "Three times" by Gabriel Ventura (Barcelona, 1988). A work that reflects the essence of spring and talks about the joy and the possibility of change that arises with hope.
The Ires Foundation has been dedicated to helping families facing situations of high vulnerability and risk of social exclusion for more than fifty years. This foundation works with more than 40 programs of social and educational care, promotion of social inclusion, intervention in conflicts and community work in the judicial field, to give each family the tools and resources necessary to leave behind their vulnerability and have a better future. With these programs, every year the Ires Foundation helps more than 15,000 people and families.
The exhibition can be visited until May 27.
