"Periples 2.0" by Ramon Pons at Dual Art Gallery

On April 1 at 7:00 p.m., the temporary exhibition of the sculptor Ramón Pons Periples 2.0 was inaugurated at the Dual Art Gallery in Girona.

With the title Periples 2.0, continuation of Periples 1.0, Ramon Pons presents at the Dual Art Gallery what could be considered his most personal project, where through a careful selection of works - some of them unpublished - invites the public to reflect on the different aspects in relation to the concept of the journeys that each person makes throughout their life.
A journey sometimes understood as simple translations, sometimes as spiritual, emotional, ideological trajectories...

However, although the exhibition focuses on a specific aspect, the selection of works allows us to discover the different techniques used by the artist. It is here that we must emphasize – apart from clay modeling – the objet trouvé technique (found art), where Pons, through the assemblage of objects, contextualises his characters in terracotta, which further strengthens plus the sense of reflection and moves us to our closest reality.

This exhibition can be visited until April 29, 2023 during the usual opening hours of the gallery.
