Since mid-March, the retrospective exhibition on the renowned Toscan artist Bonaventura Ansón (1945-2021) titled Ansón, 100 drawings (1975-2021) has been on display in the Valvi Foundation exhibition hall in Girona.
This exhibition exhibits the drawings that Ansón constantly sent to Maguí Noguer, the director of the Valvi Foundation, and that he accompanied with audio recordings, in which the artist explained to Noguer the origin of 'these.
Visitors to the exhibition can listen to some of the recordings through the QR codes that are located next to the drawings with the aim "to bring someone closer to someone who loved what he did, and who, in addition, knew how to explain himself, to express out loud the reflections on everything that had led him to make a drawing".
It should be remembered that the artist's widow and relatives were present at the presentation of the exhibition, representing the Bonaventura Ansón Cultural Association, as well as the art historian Mariona Seguranyes and Maguí Noguer . This was followed by a musical performance with Eszter Schütz (on the violin) and Anna Cassú Serra (on the piano).
Conversation "Ansón, life and art"
On March 28 from 7:00 p.m. there will be a conversation between Jaume Marcó, ceramist, and Maguí Noguer, entitled "Ansón, life and art". In this event, the main topic will be the creative process of Ansón's sculpture.
