The 18th edition of the Madrid Art Fair 2023 that will take place from February 22 to 26 at the Glass Gallery of the Palau de Cibeles in Madrid will have a total of 35 participating galleries.
On the one hand, the new edition of Art Madrid 2023 will feature 9 international galleries from France, Portugal, Italy, Germany, Taiwan and Cuba; and with a total of 26 national galleries from all over Spain.

The Selection Committee for this fair is composed of: Alfonso de la Torre (critic and curator), Aurora Vigil-Escala (gallerist), Natalia Alonso (critic and curator), Angel Samblancat (consultant in international fairs), Javier López ( gallerist) and Ana Suárez (art advisor). The selection has been made with the aim of guaranteeing a high level of artistic quality in the Art Madrid 2023 programme.

For their part, the international galleries that will participate in Art Madrid are the following: Galerie LJ (Paris), Galleria Stefano Forni (Bologna), Michael Schmalfuss (Berlin), Yiri Arts (Taiwan), Sâo Mamede (Lisbon), Trema arte contemporânea (Lisbon), ArtLounge (Lisbon), Nuno Sacramento (Ílhavo, Portugal) and Collage Habana (Havana).

Regarding the national participation, you can visit the galleries based in Madrid BATAlberto Cornejo (Madrid), Fletxa (Madrid), Arma Gallery (Madrid), DDR (Madrid), MaritaSegòvia (Madrid), Galeria Hispànica (Madrid/CDMX ); the Catalan galleries 3 Punts (Barcelona), Inèditat (Barcelona), N2 Galeria (Barcelona), Out of Africa Gallery (Sitges/London) and UxvalGochez (Barcelona); the Asturians Aurora Vigil-Escala (Gijón), Arancha Osoro (Oviedo), Bea Villamarín (Gijón); the Valencians Alba Cabrera (Valencia), ShirasGaleria (Valencia), Dr. Robot (Valencia); the Galician Luisa Pita (Santiago de Compostela), Galeria Metro (Santiago de Compostela), MoretArt (A Coruña). And also Rodrigo Juarranz (Aranda del Duero, Burgos), Espiral (Noja, Cantabria), Kur Art Gallery (Sant Sebastià, Basque Country), L'Aurora (Murcia), MAArt Contemporani (Mallorca) and Manuel Ojeda (Canary Islands). It should be noted that Art Madrid attracts a greater number of visitors year after year (more than 20,000 visitors in each of its last five editions), as well as new buyers.

According to sources of the organization "a key mission for the fair is to continue to generate market and promote national and international collecting in the Madrid context of Art Week. The fair is characterized by being a close proposition and open to all audiences who want to know the reality of the world of contemporary art".
