The Ynglada-Guillot Foundation invites the LX International Drawing Competition 2023 with the collaboration of the Vila Casas Foundation and the Lluís Coromina Foundation. Proposals must be sent between April 1 and May 1, 2023, both inclusive. All Spanish and foreign artists over the age of eighteen will be able to participate in this call, whose works are original and have not previously been submitted to another competition or exhibition. Only one work can be presented per participant.
The theme of the work is free and the technique must be free contemporary drawing, which includes plastic arts, illustration, architectural drawing or comics. It must be a pure drawing, in black and white, made with a brush or pen, preferably in Chinese ink, and the drawing in pencil, fountain pen, running ink and other suitable media at the discretion of the jury may also be accepted. Exceptionally, sepia or sanguine may be accepted to the exclusion of any other coloration.
The prize-winning work is endowed with €4,000.00, an indivisible prize. The drawing will become the property of the Ynglada-Guillot Foundation board of trustees, which will allocate it to the Museum of the Royal Catalan Academy of Fine Arts of Sant Jordi.
