The Llum BCN closes its most visited edition

The BCN Light Festival closed its twelfth edition on February 5 after having received more visitors than ever before: 200,000, according to the Institut de Cultura de Barcelona (ICUB).

The contest has turned the Poblenou district into a center of attraction for cultural activity and high-quality light shows, according to the organizers. In total, it was possible to see 13 installations, many of them by international creators linked to light. The festival has made a commitment to sustainability and for this reason this 2023 has taken measures to reduce the intensity of the pieces, has promoted the use of renewable energy to power them and has favored local production.
