The still life of the 21st century
Understanding the still life as an artistic genre that can become a historical document of the time in which it was created and that, therefore, allows us to know many aspects of different times and of each society, the organizers of this exhibition have pointed out that "we want to build together the still life of the 21st century. Through the interaction with whoever visits the exhibition, we will present the still life that most identifies each of us. In addition, this year, some of the the artists participating in the exhibition to contribute their grain of sand so that they collaborate to build this still life". This year, a photo competition is being presented on Instagram, as we also want to promote visits to the exhibition by schools and families.
From the Iluro Foundation it has been highlighted that "the still life theme wants to be a reflection of the past to talk about the present, where, in addition to enjoying art, the exhibition hall of the Ateneo Cultural Center will become a collective agora from where we can reflect, talk, debate and share".
The exhibition can be visited until April 2, 2023, during the usual opening hours of the Iluro Foundation.
