The painter Conxa Ibáñez dies

On December 22, Conxa Ibáñez died, as reported by the Canals Art Gallery, at the age of 93. Conxa Ibáñez (Canet de Mar, 1929 - Barcelona 2022) trained at the School of Arts and Crafts ¨Llotja" and the Faculty of Fine Arts of the University of Barcelona. Since the decade of the 60s she has become one of the main female figures in Catalan painting, being nourished directly by the great landscape painters of our country.

His painting is based on a clean and calm vision of nature, searching for its essential concept. She has also been an excellent recorder.

His long career is full of awards and recognitions and he has a long list of exhibitions inside and outside our country.
