The Can Roure room is hosting until January 14 an exhibition of Anton Casamor y d'Espona (1907 – 1979), a multidisciplinary artist from the Alt Empordà who mainly worked with sculpture. This is a selection of drawings, paintings and sculptures by Casamor, who was recognized as a late nineteenth-century artist, since his work in general is located in the Mediterranean line, with an aesthetic affinity with sculptors such as Clarà, Dunyach, Maillol, and Despiau
The inauguration was carried out by the director of the Pere Mayol Municipal Art School, Mariona Puigbaldoyra; of the Councilor for Culture of Llagostera City Council, Enric Ramionet and Carlos Casamor, nephew of the artist and president of the Casamor Foundation.
The exhibition can be visited until January 14 from Monday to Friday from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., on Saturdays and holidays from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., except for Christmas Day, which will be closed.
