"All the time in the world and a few extra seconds" in Palma Dotze

Palma Twelve opens on December 17 All the time of the world and a few extra seconds, an exhibition curated by Alexandra Laudo [Heroínas de la Cultura] that can be visited until February 28, 2023.

All the time in the world and a few extra seconds places us in the friction between an abstract, deep and immeasurable temporality, and a fast and standardized time, measured with technological precision. The exhibition brings together a selection of works by contemporary artists – Minja Gu, Violeta Mayoral, Mariona Moncunill, Pedro Torres and Ignacio Uriarte – that address aspects related to the juxtaposition of different temporal scales and magnitudes, as well as the relationships that they are established between processes of measuring and interpreting time linked to different fields of knowledge and experience, such as the natural sciences, social and political conventions or fiction.
