"The journey" by Laura Finestres at the Palau Foundation

Laura Finestres (Cabrera de Mar, 1966) has been exhibiting since November 5th her latest work entitled The trip to the temporary exhibition hall of the Palau de Caldes d'Estrac Foundation.
In this exhibition, Finestres takes a journey through the work and passions of Palau and Fabre, which is also based on the concepts of alchemy and metamorphosis. The works that are presented are linked to these universal concepts but also to the new realities that arise from the environmental transformations and technological progress that we are experiencing today.

It must be said that the artist conceives the works as if they were part of light luggage, with materials ranging from aluminum to textile pieces, such as sheets, which symbolize the last wrapping of refugees fleeing war , of injustice, and eternal evils.

This exhibition can be visited until February 5, 2023.
