Antoine Chuecos exposes the Dual Art Gallery

Antoine Chuecos (Montpelier, 1965) shows during these months his latest work of sculpture at the Dual Art Gallery in Girona. Chuecos, a self-taught artist, currently divides his time between France and Catalonia, as he has a workshop in both places.

Committed to his work, he avoids fashions and trends. Multidisciplinary artist works uncomplicatedly in drawing, sculpture, music and writing while self-advocating as a full-time dreamer and has the following motto in life: "not because it's possible it's mandatory". Chueca is very observant of the society around him, passionate about philosophy and astronomy, he sculpts the human race. This is his favorite subject, and his inexhaustible source of inspiration.

His way of projecting without prejudice leads him to affirm with soul that in his there are no rules, only a vision of interiorism and an insatiable thirst to create new identities that "inhabit" the spaces. In a stylized way, with the imposing Achille series, or neo-baroque, with the Dual Parallel series, Antoine Chuecos reveals a field of work in which the center is, in his eyes, the incomprehensible and yet essential: the human being .

On the other hand, it should be noted that his career, his philosophy bet that humanism and minimalism are tools capable of communicating and generating emotions. His work is based on the conviction that the only interesting creation is the exciting value of the passage of time.

The exhibition can be visited during gallery hours from Wednesday to Saturday from 11:15 to 13:30 in the morning and from 17:30 to 20:00 in the evening.
