Galeria A34 presents the first individual exhibition of Félix Cavestany

On November 24, Gallery A34 presents the first solo exhibition of Félix Cavestany (Barcelona, 1995). As Antoni Llena points out "the work of this young painter bursts into the cultural panorama of the city with, if I may say so, a bread under his arm: hope. In this exhibition, we appreciate the techniques, the sizes and the diverse supports of the emotional impulse that has given birth to each of the works. In trajectories that start on a good foot, references, familiarities and recognitions are always guessed at. And it cannot be otherwise, since there is no nothing that comes out of nothing. The history of art is a series of recurrences, of flashes that are mirrored, pushed and brought to life, pushed by new exactitudes. Artists know by instinct that art is "a nature so perfect and self-sufficient that speculative discourse, rather than approaching it, spoils it for us, since the effort to clarify the work does nothing but cut it down. Creative natures know, in short, that art is art because it leaves us hanging."

The exhibition can be visited until January 14, 2023.
