From November 11 to 26 you can visit the latest work by Marc Figueras (Barcelona, 1981) at the Clautre Galeria d'Art de Figueres. In this exhibition, Figueras portrays anonymous people in oil on canvas, or paints them from their backs, without faces.
Some of the outstanding works in this exhibition are Where hope remains 130 x 130 cm, Forgetting, 89 x 116 cm, La Quiète, 81 x 116 cm, Listening to the songs that you'd sing, 89 x 116 cm, as well as small-format paintings such as Uma of 60 x 73 cm, Badeau Rouge of 60 x 60 cm, etc...
Marc Figueras studied mural painting at the Llotja School of Arts in Barcelona where he qualified as a Superior technician. He has also studied stained glass art in the workshop of Master J. Bonet. Figueras has an honorable mention in the Painting Award of the Builders Guild of Catalonia. The painter has exhibited all over Catalonia as well as in Sweden, Paris, France, etc...
Visiting times to the exhibition are from 10:00 to 13:30 in the morning and from 16:30 to 20:30 in the evening. The gallery is closed on Mondays and holidays.
