Poblenou Urban District celebrates the 3rd edition of the AR-DE

On October 14, 15 and 16, the Poblenou Urban District, the cultural association that has been in charge of promoting art and creativity in the cultural and creative district of Barcelona for more than ten years, is celebrating the third edition of the AR-DE, a free tour of galleries, showrooms and museums in Poblenou where art and design will become the main protagonists. A good opportunity to meet emerging and established artists and national and international designers.

From its first edition in 2021, AR-DE seeks to reinforce and make visible the varied artistic fabric of the Creative District, as well as to promote the sale and collecting of art, highlighting the work of galleries, entities and spaces that are part of the Urban District of Poblenou community.

After the dates in mid-September with the Barcelona Gallery Weekend and at the beginning of October with the SWAB Barcelona Art Fair, the artistic activity does not stop in the Catalan capital, and the AR-DE becomes a meeting especially remarkable for the most demanding collectors. AR-DE is an independent project that seeks to bring the work of emerging and established artists closer to the viewer through innovative proposals and inviting the public from all over the city to Poblenou, Barcelona's cultural and creative district.

BD Barcelona: Presentation of the novelties of 2022 with the new collections of Jaime Hayon and Oscar Tusquets.

Design Hub Barcelona: In addition to the permanent exhibitions, September is the month par excellence for jewelery at the Design Hub. Among the activities that take place, the premiere of Enric Majoral stands out. La joia expandeda, the new temporary exhibition on jewelery dedicated to Enric Majoral.

Galeria Chez Xefo: This cultural space of eclectic nature has the exhibition 'Brutal Nature' by the artist Manuel Pijoan.

La Plataforma: La Plataforma opens its doors to the AR-DE circuit with BLOCK, the solo exhibition of the multidisciplinary artist Sasha Sime. On Saturday 15 and Sunday 16 they hold two sessions of Meet the Artist where the public can get to know the artist and the creative processes in person.

L&B Gallery: Exhibition Timeless Dream of Joan III, premiered at the Barcelona Gallery Weekend.

Moryarty - Posters & Frames: Exhibition with the latest abstract art and travel posters.

Can Framis Museum: The museum proposes the permanent exhibition Monologue, Dialogue and Concept, a new look at the painting collections through a wide and heterogeneous selection. On the other hand, it presents Ella, again and again by Eugènia Balcells.

Noak Room : A new and carefully selected selection of furniture and decoration pieces from the most renowned Scandinavian designers and a display of Scandinavian school posters from the 30s/40s.

Piramidón Contemporary Art Center : Show of two exhibitions Repetition in Repetition by the artist Pol Pintó and Collective exhibition 2022_n3 with work by resident artists.
