From September 15 to 18, Barcelona Gallery Weekend will take place in Barcelona and other municipalities in the province.
Organized by the Art Barcelona association, Barcelona Gallery Weekend is a cultural event that highlights the work of art galleries as spaces that generate culture and knowledge, places that allow connections and encounters between artists, collectors, public and institutions.
Barcelona Gallery Weekend claims the gallery as a fundamental pillar of the artistic ecosystem, and celebrates its contribution to the development of art and culture. In this edition, the event will have the participation of 32 galleries, 26 in Barcelona, 5 in l'Hospitalet de Llobregat and 1 in Santa Margarida i les Monjos (Penedès).
All exhibitions, free and open to the public, will be opened simultaneously on Thursday 15 September: from 12 noon, for the professional public, and from 6 pm for the general public.
The galleries participating in the current edition of the Barcelona Gallery Weekend are Die Ecke Arte Contemporáneo and House Of Chappaz, in Gràcia; 3 Punts Gallery, ADN Gallery, Artur Ramon Art, Contrast Gallery, Cortina Gallery, Joan Prats Gallery, Marc Domènech Gallery, Marlborough Barcelona Gallery, Zielinsky Gallery, Mayoral, N2 Gallery, ProjecteSD, RocioSantaCruz, Suburbia Contemporary and Victor Lope Arte Contemporáneo, at Extension; Bombon Projects, Dilalica, Galería Uxval Gochez, Pigment Gallery and LAB36, on Carrer Trafalgar; L&B Gallery in Poblenou; Ángels Barcelona and Sala Parés, in Ciutat Vella; Chiquita Room in Sant Antoni, and Alalimón in Montjuïc. In L'Hospitalet de Llobregat, Ana Mas Projects, etHALL, Galería Alegría, L21 Factory and NoguerasBlanchard also participate; while in Santa Margarida and Els Monjos, we will find the Palmadotze gallery.
