The Lluís Coromina Foundation inaugurates, on September 8 at 7 p.m., the Art and Word exhibition at the Espai Isern Dalmau in Barcelona. The Espai Isern Dalmau of the Fundació Lluís Coromina hosts the exhibition Art i Paraula, a traveling exhibition of contemporary art and Catalan poetry that was presented in November 2021 at the Cultural Factory in Terrassa. With the aim of making known the existing links between various artists from Catalonia, the exhibition is a journey that explores the works of various poets and visual creators from different generations and languages of Catalan culture, such as Salvador Espriu, Francesca Llopis, Joan Oliver, Amèlia Riera, Guinovart or Maria Mercè Marçal, among many others. The exhibition Art and Word / 11 artists and 11 poets seeks to find the limits between the visual poem and the literary poem through the views of eleven visual artists, who dialogue with the works of various authors such as Ausiàs March, M. Mercè Marçal or JV Estellés, among others. Curated by Fina Duran, Jesús Galdón and Martina Morittu, the exhibition has the support of the Josep Guinovart Foundation, the Felícia Fuster Foundation, Òmnium Cultural and the Institution of Catalan Letters of the Generalitat of Catalonia, and can be visited until the 29 October at Espai Isern Dalmau.
