The second night of Art de Cadaqués 2022 will be held next Friday, August 19 at 7:00 p.m.
For this second night, the galleries and workshops of participating artists will open their establishments again from 19:00 to 24:00 at night. According to sources from the organization, with this second night and the third (which will take place on September 16) "we want to take advantage of the summer season to boost the culture sector and promote the issue of cultural tourism in the municipality of Cadaques for not to lose competitiveness" and it was also explained that "once the third Art Night is over, we plan to do a strategic reflection to reconsider with the galleries and workshops of participating artists the key elements that make up the cultural tourism business of Cadaqués since our main objective for this edition and next year is to attract all the tourists who are interested in our culture and to position ourselves as a destination of reference".
To achieve this, more than 1,000 Art Night triptychs have been published this year, posters and numbered plaques have been printed and distributed to participating galleries, artist workshops and establishments . A dissemination and communication campaign has also been carried out through social networks and the local media.
A total of 22 galleries and workshops participate in this edition and they are: Cadaqués-Huc Malla gallery, Mini Print Galeria Fort, Patrick J. Domken, Iturria gallery, Marges-U gallery, Maria Ekengren, Estudi Sbarbaro, Dymaya & Company-Maya Cusell , Gemma Ridameya Angulo, Tu&Jo, Dalí Cadaqués exhibition, Richard Vanderaa gallery, Bernd Block, Blanco Mora Art, Paz Vieyra, Jewels, Fish&Fish Gallery, Tony Keeler Space, Gallardo Art Space, Santa Rita Cadaqués, Suse Stoisser, artist, Jordi Baron and Patricia Sicardi.
It should be remembered that this event has been organized by Bonart Cultural, SL with the collaboration of the Marges-U Gallery, the parish of Santa Maria de Cadaqués and the City Council and was inaugurated last July 22 in the Church of Santa Maria de Cadaqués.
