From April 5, the Palo Alto Foundation has opened a call for illustrators to hold the exhibition entitled Eleven for Ukraine in May at the Nau Escoleta in Palo Alto Barcelona with the aim of raising funds for Ukraine.
With this new call of the Foundation we want to give visibility to the artists and at the same time carry out together a social action of fundraising, which will be allocated 100% to the project to ensure trips to Barcelona by refugees from Ukraine, of the nonprofit Health Warriors.
A specialized jury will be in charge of choosing ten artists or artistic groups, which will provide an original illustration or to be reproduced in print by the collection. The jury will be made up of: Claudia Costa (director of Galeria La Plataforma), Daniel Romeo (director of the Palo Alto Foundation), Albert Martínez (communication manager of the Palo Alto Foundation), Núria Font (co-founder of Health Warriors) and a guest artist.
The rules of the call specify that it is aimed especially at graphic designers or others linked to the visual arts, who present an original image or to be reproduced in print. The dimensions of the work must be 50 cm wide x 70 cm long.
The closing of this call is on April 18 and from April 22 the resolution will be published on the website: www.paloalto.barcelona and XXSS.
On the other hand, the organization has reported that the opening of the exhibition Eleven for Ukraine will be on May 7, 2022.
