The Panoptic Festival, which will take place from 11 to 19 June 2022 in the city of Mataró, has opened the call for short films for its 4th edition. The short films presented must follow the theme of the Festival and deal with the digital age in society. The aim of the audiovisual is to generate reflection, debate and knowledge about the moment of radical transformation that we as a society are experiencing in the context of the digital age. Registrations for the short films can be made until February 1, 2022 through the digital platforms Festhome and Filmfreeway.
The selection of short films from the Official Section and the Non-Competitive Section of the festival will be based on thematic, artistic and technical criteria.
Jury Prize for Best Short Film: An official jury will be responsible for awarding the best short film selected in the Official Section. The financial endowment of this prize is € 300 + diploma.
Audience Award: The winning short film selected in the Official Section will be chosen by the audience attending the 4th edition of the Festival. The financial endowment of this prize is € 150 + diploma.
Special Mention: An official jury will be in charge of making a special mention to one of the short films selected in the Official Section. The winning short film in this category will receive an official diploma.
