The Círculo Ecuestre presents, from 15 to 19 December, By Invitation, the second exhibition of Modern and Contemporary Art that exhibits works by renowned creators and contemporary artists from art galleries and, as a novelty, will feature a collection Unique collection of pieces from Egyptian, Greek and Roman civilizations, as well as a selection of pre-Columbian tapestries, some of which date from the 10th century.
Participating galleries include: Baró Gallery, Espacio Lobo, Art Petritxol Gallery, Carlos Teixidó Gallery, Cortina Gallery, David Cervelló Gallery, Dolors Junyent Gallery, F. Cervera Gallery, Joan Gaspar Gallery, Jordi Pascual Gallery, Jorge Alcolea Gallery, Gallery Marc Calzada, Marc Domènech Gallery, Marlborough Gallery, Mayoral Gallery, Roger Viñuela Art Gallery, Senda Gallery, Victor Lope Gallery, Imaginart Gallery, Lorena Ruiz de Villa and Pigment Gallery.
The main novelty of this edition is the increase from fifteen to twenty-two art galleries, which will bring together a representative and high quality group of the art scene in this international cycle. In particular, By Invitation will exhibit for five days around a thousand works by artists such as Dalí, Picasso, Miró, Tàpies, Plensa and Barceló, as well as a number of contemporary artists from art galleries.
On December 15, at 6 pm, the Círculo Ecuestre organizes the first dialogue within the exhibition By Invitation 2021, with the participation of Ainhoa Grandes, president of the MACBA Foundation, and Màrius Carol, former director and current director editorial of La Vanguardia.
