Mor Josep Niebla

Josep Niebla died in Girona at the age of 75 . Alzheimer's had removed him from all activity, except for the anthological exhibition he presented in 2017 at the Museu de Montserrat. In 2014, the Fundació Valvi de Girona dedicated the exhibition De la tempesta a la calma to him, which was presented at the time by his brother, the gallery owner Antoni Niebla, who died in June last year. He was born in Tetouan in 1945 and settled in Girona in 1962. Niebla has left its mark on his personality and on a pictorial production, in which the impressive murals dedicated to the sea should be highlighted.
