Arnau Puig

Philosopher, sociologist and art critic, founder of the magazines Algol and Dau al Set, from which emerged the artistic group that was theoretic, coming to be considered one of the first referents of the inner artistic avant-garde after the post war spain

In 1992 he received the Creu de Sant Jordi from the Generalitat de Catalunya, in 2003 the award from the Catalan Association of Art Critics and in 2004 the cultural merit medal from Barcelona City Council. He was an honorary member of the Royal Catalan Academy of Fine Arts of Sant Jordi. In 2012 he was recognized with the National Culture Award of the Generalitat de Catalunya.
